WASTEEVAC INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
WasteEvac storage systems are manufactured and tested by Containment Solutions, Inc. in accordance with the requirements of the Underwriters Laboratories Standard UL 142.
Proper installation is of utmost importance to ensure the expected service and life of the WasteEvac System. The following installation suggestions are furnished for your consideration:
1. Handle tank carefully. Do not drop the tank, the secondary containment may be damaged.
2. Install the tank on a firm level surface.
3. The air, fluid and vent piping may be installed through any of the 3 sides of the pump enclosure. Determine which side is easiest for installation. Using a holesaw, drill a 1.25" size hole for the air line and fluid line. Drill a 3" size hole for the 2" vent. Using the uniseal provided, place the uniseal into its respective hole, then finish piping the system.
4. Install the 2" vent to the location where the local regulations required.
5. Before connecting the permanent air line to the regulator, blow out all lines with air to remove contaminants that can clog or damage the regulator or pump air valve. Note: A minimum of 50 psi is required to operate the system.
6. Assemble the waste oil caddy or install the female dry breaks to your existing caddy.
7. Fill the air lubricator located next to the pump with 10W oil.
8. Fill your waste oil caddy with a small amount of oil. Turn on the air to the pump and adjust the air regulator between 50-80 psi.
9. Adjust the air lubricator so a small amount of oil is felt from the exhaust port during operation of the pump.
10. Install the Scully level gauge in the left front opening.
