Quality manufacturing:
Tank walls and specially designed ribs form a structural system that has earned the UL 1316. CSI tanks are built from the inside out on a rotating mandrel. Application of resin, glass, and specially treated silica are precisely metered onto the mandrel which is controlled by a computer, custom designed to manufacture underground tanks. Because of this process, the inside surface is very smooth and free of surface variations which eliminates air inhibited surface cure problems associated with other methods.
Fiberglass Tanks Simply Will Not Rust inside or out:
And thats what you need to know when comparing fiberglass underground storage tanks and underground tanks made from steel.
After nearly 250,000 installations since the early 1960s, not a single leak has been attributed to internal or external corrosion.
