System Overview
The HydroGuard System features UL-listed, double-wall tank sumps with built-in FRP reservoirs designed to meet AB2481 monitoring requirements. Best of all, potentially expensive piping leaks are safely contained and future piping upgrades can be completed at a fraction of the cost.

About Fiberglass Storage Tanks:
The HydroGuard System’s name was chosen because brine solution is employed to safeguard groundwater and soil. The brine is under hydrostatic pressure in the annular space of the tank and tank sump walls providing an amazingly sensitive and reliable means of monitoring for leaks 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In addition to Leak monitoring capability, the HydroGuard System provides 360° secondary containment of critical piping components.

Continuous Hydrostatic Monitoring :
The HydroGuard System monitor provides continuous leak detection capability. The cavity between the inner and outer tank walls is filled with a brine solution. Hydrostatic pressure is continuously applied to both the primary and secondary tank. This provides the capability of detecting leaks in either the primary or secondary tank walls in all installed conditions. The monitor can also serve as a precision test of both the inner and outer tank walls.
