Standard Features:
- Made of non-corroding fiberglass.
- Made to be installed WITHIN an existing concrete, brick, or precast manhole.
- Provides a structural barrier.
- Resists the attack of hydrogen sulfide.
- Provides a long-term and cost effective solution to manhole rehabilitation.
- Withstands H-20 traffic loads.
The CSI rehabilitation manhole is a structural unit, as well as a watertight, corrosion-resistant liner.
Water Tight Construction:
- Monolithic - made in one integral piece - up to 25 feet in height.
- Design prevents infiltration an exfiltration.
- No sidewall joints, seams, or sections to let groundwater in or wastewater out.
- Virtually leakproof answer to deteriorated brick or concrete manholes.
Lightweight, Strong and Durable:
- Lightweight to permit fast, easy rehabilitation of deteriorated manholes means minimum disruption of street traffic.
- Rehab can often be accomplished without sewage bypassing or diversion.
- Liners are engineered to withstand a 16,000 pound vertical dynamic load (AASHTO H-20).
Unlike coating and gunite methods of relining, no extensive surface preparation of deteriorated interior surface areas is required to restore structural integrity.
Corrosion Resistance:
- Highly corrosion resistant.
- Proven resistant to the following conditions such as:
- Variety of chemical solutions.
- Salt water.
- Corrosive soil conditions.
- Sewer gases (such as hydrogen sulfide).
- Stray electrical currents which can destroy steel-reinforced concrete in a few years.
- Economic alternative.
- Long performance life.
Size Availability:
- Manufactured as one integral piece.
- Available in one-foot increments in heights from 3 feet to 25 feet.
- Inside diameters can range from 42" to 72" in six-inch increments.
- Liners in other diameters can be made upon request .
- Can be provided without cone if requested.
Specification Compliance:
- CSI rehabilitation manholes meet all requirements of ASTM specification D3753 for glass fiber-reinforced polyester manholes.
- The rehabilitation manhole is a complete structural unit which can be used as a manhole were local code requirements permit.
